Monday Office Memo: Professional Maternity

As promised – I’m featuring another Monday Office Memo post – today is focused on Professional Maternity.  Whether you work within the corporate world, have court appearances, or have to dress business appropriately the entire week – I hope that this looks gives you some inspiration.

I always try to incorporate items that are non-maternity so that you will have more use for them after pregnancy.  This top is from Zara and not maternity.  When I saw it online – it was definitely a must-have.  The elastic band around the waist is adjustable and the peplum silhouette is very flattering! I’m wearing a size small for reference.  It has to be one of the best purchases I made so far during this pregnancy. Of course, dresses are easier to wear but I opt for slacks especially when it’s cold out! These are from H&M, also non-maternity but they have an elastic band around the waist. I’m wearing a size 6 for reference.  I found some great maternity slacks at ASOS in case you want more variety – here, here, and here.

Hopefully the weather will get a little warmer so I can start wearing dresses, I’m sure it will be much easier to get dressed in the morning.  Anyways, I have a little bit more to go with this baby bump – 6 weeks give or take!
