Happy Monday everyone – hope you had a great weekend! We had a busy weekend filled with events, concerts and sick kiddos – we got it all in in 2 days (lol)!
I hope you enjoyed reading my first Friday Feature post; if you missed it, you can catch up and read it HERE. I’m all ears for new topics because like I mentioned, I want to relate with more of you. If you have any topics that you would like me to talk about, leave a comment below send me an email- email@example.com.
In today’s post, I’m sharing how I would wear statement sleeves to the office. Whether you work in a conservative or business casual office – I think you can definitely wear a top that has strong shoulders or statement sleeves. I recently purchased this top from Express and I absolutely love it. It’s such a great top to have in your closet to reach for when you need a subtle statement. It’s a great top to wear tucked into slacks, skirts or high-waisted jeans/pants/shorts/etc. It comes in black and a cream – I ordered a size small. I love the fabric, it lays nicely and doesn’t bunch up when you tuck it in. I actually found so many great tops that I can wear to the office from Express and the prices are very reasonable.
The exact slacks I’m wearing are from Zara, but I recently went into J.Crew and found a similar pair that comes in gray, black and navy! As far as the accessories, I wanted to do something different and contrast the pink and white with a darker hue for fall. This Henri Bendel tote is a great option for work as well – I can fit my laptop, cosmetic case, wallet and other necessities with no problem. You can also wear nude/beige accessories as a go-to!
As always, thanks for reading – hope you have a great day.
