Monday, here we go! Starting this week off strong with one of my favorite looks, trying the suit trend!
What’s your take on the suit trend? I am LOVING it. I mean, it’s as good as finding the perfect dress or jumpsuit when you don’t have to think about pairing two separate items. The suit trend is so up my alley because it makes dressing that much easier.
I also love the bold colors that are trending right now – I’ve seen mustard-colored suits, red, pink, green, white, maroon…and the list goes on. I absolutely could NOT resist buying and styling this little number when I saw it in store. I think it was made for me (haha). It is really, really GREAT quality – considering the price. I also saw that this suit is available in a rich green color at Nordstrom.
I bought a US 6 in both the blazer and pants for a more relaxed, loose fit. And the best part is, you can wear the blazer and slacks as separate pieces too. I wore the blazer with a pair of distressed jeans and metallic sneakers a few weeks ago. I also wore these slacks to work with a more mellowed out top. I finished the look with a pair of simple Louise et Cie mules and a structured Henri Bendel bag.
