Hello everyone! Hope your week is going well…only two more days till the weekend! As much as I always count down to every weekend, it is actually crazy how time is flying. It is almost the end of August, which means fall is right around the corner and summer is coming to an end. I am absolutely in denial and cannot fathom wearing jackets, scarves, boots, etc. I love layering, but I feel like I just took out my summer gear and haven’t worn it all yet! Who else is dreading fall and winter?
Even though I’m not looking forward to fall, I wanted to create a “transitional look” for my readers and followers for that in-between season where you can’t figure out what to wear. If you don’t want to wear sandals and flats anymore, you can always dress up your rompers, jumpsuits and dresses with a pair of booties, like these from Sole Society. They are under $100 and come in three colors. I chose a neutral color because I like to get a lot of wear out of items, especially for fall. Unfortunately, as much as I love to shop – I have to be realistic and can’t buy everything I see! These are very comfortable because of the chunky heel and I love the woven detail!
Also, don’t be afraid to accessorize your simple looks! Think about what I did with this look – I just added a hat, statement necklace and a bold lip. Also, because I don’t want to keep shopping for summer clothes, I’m recycling a bunch of items that I’ve already worn (yes, it’s okay to do that) and just styling them differently. Wear the same top with a different pair of colored jeans, different necklace and change it up with either flats or heels. Trust me, no one will notice! Last but not least, I wanted to mention that this necklace from Happiness Boutique will surely get lots of wear because it’s so versatile. I usually don’t mix metals, but I wore it with this rose gold Kristine Lily ring…and I love how they compliment each other! Thanks so much for reading!

I am loving your colour palette here! Especially that great floppy hat. I'm not quite ready for fall yet, but I am liking the idea of slowly bringing in more fall items, like booties.
Sincerely,
Sabrina
