Happy Wednesday! Totally excited for today’s post because I get to share with you my easy look, all ready for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! I love this time of year (minus the cold) because of all the hype surrounding the holidays, all the cozy clothing, holiday music and gorgeous scenery no matter where you go!
I think the official start to the holiday season is the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! Whether you’re celebrating at home or at the parade, you want to, of course, look absolutely fabulous! But going out into the city with thousands of people, you can’t always wear 4-inch heels and an outfit that if you wear a coat – will kill the entire look! I tried to incorporate my look by already thinking that I won’t be taking my coat off – because it’s the end of November and winter is upon us! There is no better way to look “holiday” appropriate than with this Calvin Klein coat from Macy’s. It is WARM, fitted and the color is fabulous. It’s perfect for a bright and cheery day. Also, you’ll be doing lots of walking and standing so you’ll need comfortable boots or booties. Personally, I think it’s difficult to find a combination of comfort and cuteness – but these Lucky Brand booties from Macy’s are just that! I’ve worn them plenty of times already since receiving them and they are great for all-day wear. I wore them to work a few times and no complaints here.

I think this is perfect for the parade. My husband likes to tease me that I'd rather go without a coat because then you can't see my outfit! The one big downer about the colder months!
