My idea for a travel outfit is simple – COMFORT is key and always layer up! Whether you’re on a plane for hours, walking/run to catch your train or will be on your feet all day – you want to wear something that won’t having you regretting it the second you walk out of your house!
I actually think travel outfits are challenging because if you’re like me, you want to look semi-decent.  Cute clothes that are also comfortable are pretty hard to find (sometimes).  I wore this on our last day in Rhode Island last weekend; we had about 4 hours to kill until our train and we were walking around the city, enjoying the weather and running some last minute errands.  It was actually a nice day, considering it was freezing the two other days we were there.  I was SO comfortable! I felt like I had a blanket on the whole time – this cardigan is so cozy and warm (can’t beat the price too)!
Leggings are my substitute for sweatpants…although I love my share of denim – I try not to wear jeans when I’m traveling.  I’m the type of person that can’t be in the same position (sitting) for a long time.  Is anyone else like that? I’m always moving around in my seat! Anyways, faux leather leggings are a great way to add some personality to your travel look.  If I could, I could probably wear variations of this outfit everyday…lol!
