Hi everyone! Today’s post is all about my experience at StyleWeek Northeast in Providence, Rhode Island last weekend! It was such an amazing time and I was extremely honored to be a part of the 1st ever hosted Blogger Soiree! StyleWeek has been running for 10 years and it is a great week of showcasing local designers and connecting them with the community – especially to those traveling from out-of-state!
First off, I wanted to thank the entire PR team for organizing, hosting and making sure all the details were lined out for each night we were there! Everything was so thoughtful – it was a truly touching experience. I loved making new friends and seeing the beautiful city of Providence!
Here was the view from our hotel room! It’s the Rhode Island State House.
For our first evening in Providence, we wined & dined at Gasbarro’s Wines. This was the group of bloggers as well as the PR girls that were organizing the entire Blogger Soiree!
This was during/after the Friday night fashion event, showcasing four different designers! One is actually from New York, named Alexandra Nam and I LOVED the structured outerwear that was part of her collection. I had the pleasure of trying on my favorite coat, which was 100% cashmere and retailed for about $1,800. I took photos and videos of the actual shows on my Snapchat (unfortunately, I forgot to save them on my phone). I sat across from Olivia Culpo during the fashion show…she’s from Rhode Island so she was supporting the local businesses as well. Here are some iPhone shots from the first night.
Saturday morning, StyleWeek hosted brunch & Designer Studio – we got to mingle with the designers and try on a few favorite pieces from the night before =) …my blazer is from H&M.
For our last evening, we had dinner at Garde de la Mer. It was DELICIOUS. The restaurant just opened up a few months ago and has become one of the best restaurants in the city! Here are some few iPhone snaps from the evening (sorry for the low quality)!

For our last day, we had brunch at Circe Restaurant & Bar. I guess we were all starving so we didn’t take a picture of the table. I snapped the cute setup though! Hope you had a chance to see it. Imperial Pearl, who was the first official sponsor of StyleWeek brought this tiara to brunch, which I believe is worth half a million dollars?! It was pretty heavy – and much more stunning in person. We had a few hours to kill before our train left so we just walked around and went to stores! I wish we had more time to go and explore but we were kept pretty busy & I honestly needed to re-energize before heading out to multiple events for the night. Guess I’m getting old?!
During our stay in Providence, we also went to Hemmingway’s – which apparently has the best seafood & hubby was loving it! We also went to the Salted Slate for brunch – they serve the BEST warm donuts I’ve ever had! That’s all I have for recommendations! It was a short trip, but with lots of activities! Have you ever been to Providence? I would love to go back =)
P.S. – all photos were taken by my husband, with the exception of the one by Ouellet Photography.
Thanks for reading, hope you have a great weekend!
