Hi everyone! I’m so excited about today’s blog post because I get to share details about an event coming up with Lord & Taylor this Saturday, October 8th in New Jersey from 2-4 PM!
I will be hosting the Fall Fashion show in the Westfield location (609 North Avenue, Westfield, NJ 07090) as part of Lord & Taylor‘s launch as the “Dress Address” featuring styles from the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar. In fact, the Fall Fashion show will take place in 10 stores nationally! I hope you follow along my Instagram and Snapchat (handle: alina2189) for behind the scenes before and during the event.
I am extremely honored to be a part of this opportunity – you know that I’ve been a long time shopper at Lord & Taylor. The sales are amazing during the year, with no disappointment. You can always get designer pieces at a steal, compared to other department stores.
As a little preview, I wanted to share five of my favorite Lord & Taylor dresses with you. I’ve narrowed them down to show some variation:
This Cynthia Rowley Cold Shoulder Lace Dress is on the top of my list! Not only is it on-trend with the cold-shoulder detail, but it is surely a classic with its lace detail and bell sleeves. Wouldn’t it be perfect for your next occasion?
This Aidan Mattox Red Lace Gown is so feminine in every way! For as long as I’ve known, Aidan Mattox always carries the most beautiful silhouettes to flatter every women’s body type. Every woman needs to wear a red dress, once in their lifetime. This dress is so elegant, yet adds a touch of edginess with the deep-V neck. It’ll be great for all the special occasions and holiday parties coming up (not to mention Valentine’s Day) & no it’s not too early to think about it!
As much as I love gowns, I’m always on the hunt for a mini/midi dress. This BCBGMaxazria Leonara Lace-Blocked dress features, literally, every detail that is a favorite on mine. With intricate floral lace detail, the high-neck collar has ruffles – who doesn’t love ruffles? I especially love this dress because you don’t have to accessorize much – just add your handy black or neutral clutch with some classic pumps (or booties) and you’re set for a night out!
This Ralph Lauren Jersey shirtdress is THE dress to wear for work. Because I work full-time, I appreciate when I find dresses that are perfect for 9-5. The faux-leather collar detail and belt adds a modern twist to the otherwise ‘boring’ pencil dress look for work! I’m pretty sure that anyone who wears this, will get a ton of compliments.
When you think fall and winter, you always need that versatile sweater dress in your closet rotation. This Walter Baker Felicity Hi-Lo Knit
is one of my favorite casual dresses from Lord & Taylor. You can style it with a belt or even add a faux leather jacket on top. I love the high-low detail because it’s a unique detail that not every sweater dress has.

Thanks so much for reading and I hope you follow along during the event on Saturday!
