Zara puffer jacket; similar option by Topshop & Bernado | BP knit sweater | Distressed Jeans | Free People Scarf | Ralph Lauren beanie; similar | Chloe crossbody bag | Ralph Lauren gloves | Adidas Superstar sneakers (come in three colors) – SIZE DOWN!
With my pregnancy going full force, I have been so into athleisure! There is nothing better than a comfy pair of sneakers, joggers and loose tees! If you follow me on Instagram, I’m sure you’ve become quickly familiar with these Adidas Superstar sneakers. They’ve sold out in the bronze color a few times already – but keep restocking every week or two. So keep checking if you don’t see your size right away. But warning – I purchased a 7.5 (which is my regular size) and they were HUGE. Size down either half a size or a full size from what you normally wear.
As far as a pregnancy update – I know I haven’t been blogging much about it, but I promised I would give you a little update! I’m at the end of my second trimester (ah)! Time is flying. My bump is growing by the minute. FYI, these photos were taken about 2 weeks ago, I just haven’t gotten around to posting it. I wanted to continue my ‘Monday Office Memo’ series today for maternity wear, but we did not have a change to take photos this past weekend. Promise, I will try to do it again next week! This one is SO much tougher than my first. I feel much more tired and definitely feeling a lack of energy. When I was pregnant with Noah, I was working full-time and going to school. Somehow, I felt like I was able to do much more. I haven’t had major cravings – but I’m definitely eating more than usual!
I have to go for the glucose test soon – crossing my fingers that I pass the one-hour test! I had to sit for the three-hour one the first time!!! One thing I will say for sure, it has been SO hard to get dressed up for work. Slacks, dresses, skirts – I’m so not into that right now, but obviously have to wear business attire 5 days a week. Just give me a pair of sweats and sneakers. Thank goodness that athleisure is actually on trend now too! I haven’t purchased anything specific maternity, except slacks for work. I found that ASOS has great maternity options that are reasonably priced, especially for work. I’m really not all about spending $100 for a pair of pants that I won’t wear after I have the baby.
I will definitely have a roundup of recent purchases that I made, as well as great maternity options for your 9-5 job. I’m sure that if I have the daily struggle, then some of you do too! If you have any other questions and/or requests – leave me a comment below or shoot me an email – theclosetcrush@gmail.com. Thanks for reading!
