Happy Wednesday! Hope you’re all having a great week. I found some really great items in Nordstrom recently and wanted to review my purchases with you! I’ve found myself shopping more and more because of my growing belly!
This Topshop faux fur collar coat is a great option for outerwear. Camel coats are totally in this season, more than ever. I’m wearing a US 4. I think it’s great for the price as well because no matter how much we don’t want to spend too much money on outerwear – options are pretty expensive nowadays! The length is great (I’m 5’6); stops mid-thigh. I love the faux fur detail – makes it different than all the other classic camel coats that I’m sure you’ve been seeing around. ALSO, the faux fur collar is detachable!
It’s no surprise I get super excited when I find a new blazer. This Topshop boyfriend fit blazer is very soft and comfortable. I love the relaxed fit because you have greater options to either dress it up for work or dress it down with jeans, like in my photo. I wore it to work recently with a blouse underneath and black slacks. I also really love how it looks with this loose-fitted tee. It almost looks like tweed – but the blazer is made of cotton-material. AND pockets are always a plus in my book. I’m wearing a US 4. You can size up or down depending on your sizing preference (it’s supposed to have a ‘boyfriend’ fit).
ALSO, this Free People tee has to be my favorite purchase of the month. It’s non-maternity but is totally working for me right now. I’m wearing a size small – it’s not too loose but roomy enough that I feel comfortable with a slightly slouchy, oversized fit. It lays longer in the back which is great if you want to wear with leggings. I NEVER would buy a tee for $58, but when it’s this good – I made the exception. I know it will last me for a long time and I actually don’t regret the purchase. I’ve bought so many simple tees from Forever 21 for like $10, but they never lasted. This tee comes in 6 colors too!
Another great find is this Free People pullover sweater. It comes in 5 colors (some of which are nice & bright), which helps transitioning into spring! I’m sized way up on this one, I’m wearing a size large. I’m loving the relaxed, oversized fit – especially with pullover sweaters. I chose to wear it off-the-shoulder, but can be worn either way! If you like your sweaters more fitted, I suggest you purchase your regular size. It’s under $100 and great quality. I actually really like the pink too! This sweater pictured is the ‘black’ color on Nordstrom‘s site.
This soft-marled off-the-shoulder top by Free People is a great throw on and go option for weekend wear! It’s under $70 and comes in 5 colors. The color pictured is ‘red,’ but looks like more of a soft coral in person. I’m wearing a size medium. It can be worn off both shoulders or just one. The top features a tighter fit toward the bottom, which is a great option for those that like a more fitted look. I always love to have tops like this when I have no idea what to wear – since it can be worn with joggers, jeans or leggings.
I know I posted this and the next picture in my Instagram Roundup post – but thought I would give a full review here! This Hinge fuzzy cardigan is LIFE. I’m wearing a size medium (again, I don’t like to feel constricted so I always tend to size up). If you get your true size, I think it’ll be more a ‘crop’ fit, as it states in the description of the item. It’s so soft and cozy – definitely a must-have for this season. Fuzzy cardigans and/or outerwear is very on trend this winter!
I paired it with this Free People tee, which is now 25% off! I have to say Free People has become my go-to brand with this pregnancy because of the loose-fitting, flowy tops. The material on this tee is just as great as the white one I described earlier. Only difference is that this gray one is v-neck! You can half-tuck into your jeans, leave as-is, or knot it!
This Free People top is one of my favorites! I bought it in black and white! I’m wearing a size small – it is super flattering whether you are expecting or not. I love the peplum and that it has a high-low fit. Also, bell sleeves are very popular right now! My only (slight) complaint about this top is that it is very low-cut. I pick it up here and there, but nothing major. It’s just a personal preference of mine; nothing that an undershirt can’t fix!
Hope you found my reviews helpful. Please leave any questions you may have in the comments below and I’ll make sure to answer!
