Yellow Blazer and Denim Shorts

Happy Wednesday! I never got around to posting this yellow blazer and denim shorts combo on my blog – even though I posted on Insta a few times! I will forever have a blazer crush – for as long as I live. I went a little nuts and bought this blazer from J.Crew in all the colors that were available in my size. I usually wear a Regular 0 in this particular fit, but since it was sold out – the Petite 2 was a great fit too. Although the sleeves are little shorter, I always fold the sleeves.

When I’m wearing shorts, I always like to compensate by wearing longer sleeves (weather permitting of course). Blazers not only look great with jeans or for work – but you can totally style them with a cute pair of shorts. I like the length of these Levi’s shorts because they’re a little on the longer side. Modest length is what I call it (haha). I finished the look with these amazing pair of floral mules by Sole Society – available in two other solid colors.  The heel is perfect for everyday wear and they’re under $100!
