NYFW Outfit Idea

  With NYFW around the corner, I thought I would share a NYFW outfit idea! The hype is definitely starting and it’s always so hard to plan the “right” outfit. There’s always an expectation that you have to look your absolute best because you’ll be looked at under a microscope – am I right?

My advice – be simple and be yourself! Simplicity and minimalistic details are always my go-to because you know that it will be “on trend” today and a year from now.  As time goes on, I always see myself gravitating toward simple, versatile pieces because I want to wear them multiple times. I find it hard spending so much money on trendy items that won’t necessarily be in style a few years from now.

Even though the one-shoulder trend is at its prime this season and I’m sure will make its way to fall – it’s the simplest version ever! I actually am thinking of styling it with a skirt for an event during NYFW.  I also wore it with a pair of black high-waisted skinny pants for a party about 2 months ago.

I recently purchased these wide-leg culottes from Zara – I couldn’t resist! It took me a while to actually buy a pair of culottes – but these are so chic! I love the fit and the easy movement when you walk.  I linked to a few alternatives – but if you are ever in Zara, they probably still have them (they also come in white and black).

My shoes from Schutz are my FAVORITE statement shoe at the moment. Perfect for NYFW or any other events you have planned.  They add the right amount of glam and not too ‘in your face.’
