Fun Work Outfit Idea

Who says you have to dress boring when going to work? Today, I’m sharing a fun work outfit idea with you – with some ruffles and color! I always love mixing things up when heading to the office. You can always try new trends for work, just as long as they are appropriate.

Now, I feel like it is so easy to be trendy for work because of the vast availability of different styles for collared shirts, blouses, slacks, dresses and skirts.  I recently found these mustard colored pants from Banana Republic Factory – love the color and the fact that they are cropped! I’m also loving these yellow culottes from Topshop. They’re such a great option for those days that you don’t want to wear a skirt or dress and it’s a hot summer day! Personally, I prefer wearing slacks even in the summer only because I like to be comfortable at work because I’m always on the go as far as court appearances.

Unless you work for corporate America where black/navy blue suits are a MUST – I recommend you go outside the box and have fun with your work wardrobe! Ruffle sleeves are a cute option for those collared shirts – in my opinion, you can never have enough.

Even when I have a somewhat plain work outfit, I try to compensate with my accessories – either with a cute statement necklace or colored earrings, like these turquoise ones from Kendra Scott.
