Recap of our Trip to Miami, Florida

Happy Monday! I thought I would recap our trip to Miami, Florida today! We went for 5 days and took Noah with us. It was actually our first time traveling with a toddler so I did lots of research regarding what to bring, how to face possible anxiety on the plane, etc. If you want a detailed post on that – let me know! I basically brought the whole pharmacy with me – haha and distracted Noah during take off and landing with new toys, things to do and headphones to cover his ears for loud sounds. Thank goodness it worked!

I wanted to recap some of my outfits that I wore in Miami – we didn’t take a ton of pictures, so I’m sharing what we were able to snap.

When I’m traveling, I’m all about comfort. Major props to girls who wear wedges, heels, tight jeans, pretty tops – LOL; not me at all. I try not to look like a hot mess, but definitely a comfy casual look that still looks put together. See below for links.

We stayed at Loews Miami Beach Hotel. I had their guac for breakfast, lunch and dinner – HAHA; I’m kidding, but the breakfast and bar food was pretty good. It’s a kid friendly hotel – they have a little kids center which is super cute. Every time we had breakfast at the hotel, the staff would give Noah a little toy which he started looking forward to by Day 2. If you are traveling to South Beach with a toddler, I would recommend this hotel – it was clean, grounds are pretty and staff is very friendly. It’s also a really convenient location, right on Collins Avenue – next to the beach.

This was the only beach/pool outfit picture we were able to take. I’ll link my other bathing suits I wore below so you can check them out. I’m very modest with my swimwear, so I was happy to find this one-piece ruffle swimsuit for under $35!

For dinner one night, we went to STK – to be honest, the one in NYC is better (sorry Miami)!

This was our last morning in Miami. I wore this top for dinner the night before but it started pouring so badly! It was my favorite from the trip so I wore it again for breakfast just to get a picture in – the things we do for the blog and Instagram!
