Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend and for those that celebrated, I hope you had a fabulous Valentine’s Day! I’m enjoying Monday off from work (insert appropriate emojis here).
As you might know, winter season of NYFW has arrived and boy…was it cold. It was actually the coldest weekend we had all winter and of course, it had to be during fashion week. After this 5-minute “photo shoot” my hands were so cold, they literally hurt! I actually was supposed to wear a different dress, THIS one to be exact but being that it was such a thin material and shorter – I really wasn’t up for becoming an icicle. I found this sweater dress in Forever 21 last minute (I’m talking Friday night after work). There was only a large left but I went with it because it’s longer in length! I am wearing leggings underneath (you can totally spot them in a few shots) and also a cardigan under my jacket since the dress was short-sleeve. The weather was NO joke, my weather app said it felt like -2 degrees out.
I took a break from shows yesterday because it was just as cold and wasn’t up for a freezing experience all over again. I really did enjoy the Leanne Marshall show – the designs were so amazing. I loved every intricate detail on each number. I was able to take a few shots with our camera (and I had a great seat)! Between finding a babysitter for the weekend and the weather madness, I was only able to make it to one show – but I am going to an event tonight.
