Sincerest apologizes for the overload of pictures! But I have some exciting news to share with all of you!
Before I start – here are my outfit and makeup details: My dress is by Self Portrait (sold out) but little quantity available at Shopbop and ASOS. Here is the top version of the dress and I’m loving this dress by the same designer. My shoes are by Louise et Cie – who actually spoke at the event accepting an award on behalf of Vince Camuto! My bag is borrowed from Bag Borrow or Steal (they’re an amazing service for events like this). My makeup is by Katie Nova (she did my makeup for my wedding and other special occasions). My hair, I did myself.
On to the event! Every year, QVC partners with the Fashion Footwear Association of NY to bring an exclusive fundraising gala that raises money for breast cancer research and education. For as long as this fundraiser has been running, over $47 million has been generated for the cause – which is SO incredible.
I had the absolute pleasure of attending the gala with my partner in crime at the Waldorf Astoria. There was an amazing cocktail hour, pink carpet to walk for press and photography, presentations, sit-down dinner and a shoe salon with an amazing selection of shoes! Cheryl Burke from Dancing With the Stars was the face of the campaign this year! We also heard speeches from designer Louise et Cie and CEO of Macy’s. There were amazing designer shoes on sale for HALF PRICE with the proceeds going to the cause. I came home with some amazing Stuart Weitzman boots and Gucci shoes! What better reason do you need to shop for shoes?!
NOW ON TO THE EXCITING PART! QVC is broadcasting a special 3-hour show TOMORROW, offering their viewers across the country the opportunity to participate. So that huge wall of shoes that you see in my pictures – yes, every shoe there will be part of the special broadcast. Be sure to tune into QVC‘s live broadcast on 10/22 from 6-9 PM (ET)!
