Happy Wednesday everyone! I’m so excited to finally share the details about the campaign I was part of with The Shops at Columbus Circle during NYFW! This was a completely candid shot by the lovely Lydia Hudgens!
For this campaign, it was all about “Taking Fashion to the Streets.” The main purpose was to select certain individuals around The Shops at Columbus Circle and “add-on” to their look! For example, if a woman in her 20s-30s just left work and is heading to a function that requires a less-professional look, my goal was to style her to perfection for that event! That is totally something we do on an everyday basis in our own lives, because New York can be a little hectic and you don’t always have the time to head back home to change your entire outfit from day to night. I know I can relate as I find myself throwing different accessories in my bag to switch up my look for the evening.
Before I went to The Shops at Columbus Circle to pick the winners and gift the items, I went shopping! It was so fun, I took my sister along and made a girls’ day out of it. What I love about The Shops at Columbus Circle is that it has everything you need to transform your look. There is a Sephora for all your make-up and fragrance needs, H&M for all the latest trendy items at a reasonable price, J.Crew for the cutest, preppy clothing and footwear, Cole Haan for amazing quality accessories and shoes, Hugo Boss for a polished look for that special man in your life, and if you want to take a fashion risk – Bebe is right on the first and second floors! I found these amazing items at Lucky Brand (NEED that utility vest for myself and that adorable crossbody) – both were 40% off during their Labor Day sale!
Once I shopped all necessary items for my prospective winners, it was time to gift! It honestly felt so great making someone’s day…I am so honored to be part of such an amazing opportunity.
FIRST AND SECOND GIVEAWAY
This was a lovely couple that I had the pleasure of meeting and were two lucky winners of our campaign, Taking Fashion to the Streets. They were actually on their way to eat at one of the restaurants at The Shops at Columbus Circle. This is what they wore before our gifting session. I thought I would transform their looks, just a tad and spice it up for dinner! Here’s what they received.
For Her: She looked great in a fedora, so I thought I would gift her a studded panama hat from Bebe. She also wasn’t wearing any jewelry, so the add-on of these gorgeous bracelets from Bebe was just the right touch. And how about that leopard wrislet from Coach! If you notice, her outfit was very basic, just a simple black and gray! The best way to make your outfit pop, on the go, is to add a pattern or print. Leopard is perfect for fall – whether it’s a bag, shoes, belt or scarf! The panama hat and mix of leopard is the epitome of fall! She looks absolutely fabulous.
For Him: He was the lucky winner of the black leather Hugo Boss
belt and black Cole Haan sneakers. With his comfortable, shopping attire at full swing, I thought I would transform his look into somewhat less casual for dinner with his other half! These two accessories are a match made in heaven. You cannot go wrong with dressed-up black sneakers or with a black leather belt. Both are closet staples and will look good with jeans, skinny slacks, or more casual pants. These two black accessories can go a long way, especially into the fall
and winter. Best part is, Josh still gets to be comfortable (and stylish) during his dinner!

THIRD GIVEAWAY
For the second giveaway, I spotted this adorable teenager shopping around the area of Lucky Brand and True Religion. She had such an adorable outfit on, just a plain white top leggings and sandals (this was her before look). I had a great idea to give her a fall and back-to-school look with two must-have accessories.

is the number one accessory you need in your wardrobe, whether you’re a
teenager or not; especially in the fall. It pairs well with a tank (as shown on our winner),
button-down shirt or dress. Also, army green is a very popular color
throughout fall and winter! I also decided to gift her this cognac,
leather crossbody (which comes in different colors) for a “back to school” relaxed look. If you’re looking for a fall shade that will certainly go with all your outfits – cognac is the way to go.

FOURTH GIVEAWAY
I spotted this beauty shopping with a friend around the Sephora area on the second floor! She was dressed super casual for an intense shopping day – a simple tee, baseball cap, denim shorts and converse sneakers. The perfect way to change her look from day to night is to add some bling, some lip color and some height! Here’s what she received!
First off, the booties from J.Crew are a great shade for fall (but still appropriate for the transition from summer to fall) because of the neutral palette. These booties are comfortable, simple and sophisticated. They are sure to look great
with shorts, skirts or pants. And that Michael Kors watch! A gold watch is
an essential accessory for back to school and the fall season because
it is a tone that compliments and blends well with colors such as
burgundy, olive green, beige/nude, black, navy blue, etc. It is also stacks well with other jewelry on the same arm for some more “bling” for your “day-to-night” look. To finish her look, I added a Nars red lipstick from Sephora. Red gives a fabulous pop to any look!
