Hi everyone! This post is a little different than my usual outfit posts, only because it has been so difficult to maintain! People definitely have misconstrued what blogging is all about; even I thought it looks much easier until you’re in it. Blogging “on the side” is pretty much like a full/part-time job, apart from everything else you might be handling in your life, such as children, family functions, home chores, social life. For instance, when I make a blog post, my amazing husband and I either have shoots over the weekend or even early in the morning before we both head to work. When it’s nice out, we take our little one for a walk with us. But, before we head out – I have to make sure I know what I’m styling and/or promoting and get myself looking normal…lol.
Lately, the weather has seriously not been cooperating and when it does, I’m at work or have so much going on that I can’t make time for it. Like last weekend, I was all dressed and ready to go – but it started to snow the second we wanted to leave! So pretty much, if it doesn’t happen over the weekend – I wait until the following weekend. Blogging definitely is very time consuming, if you want to do it right. So I just wanted to give my lovely readers a little inside scoop of what’s been happening lately. My posts have become non-existent but hopefully it will pick up (next weekend?)… I’m trying to keep up on Instagram but now I’m going to court more often so my #OOTD’s will be very “corporate” and who wants to shop that haha.
I do want to thank all my readers and followers for always complimenting me, following me and encouraging me to keep going! Seriously, you’re the reason why I keep going! SOOO…here’s a little treat to end off this post.

I have had a lot of the same issues this winter–and I don't think people realize all the time and effort than goes into blogging–and then most of us have other jobs on top of it!! Kudos to you tho–you always look fab on IG and I look forward to your posts 🙂

It is so true that blogging is pretty much like a second part time job! This past two weeks the weather here has just been miserable and I was not able to shoot any outfits at all! It takes time to just be able to plan when to take them, and if the weather doesn't cooperate you are just out of luck! Blogging looks easy but it is most definitely not! Haha

What a wonderful post! I agree, blogging is so much more time consuming than people realize! The photos are the hardest part. My husband is my photographer as well and we are always shooting on the weekend.
