Blazer and Shorts Combo

Hi friends! It’s been a hot minute since I posted on the blog – hope you missed me =) HAHA! We just got back from Aruba a few days ago with the family and it’s been hectic trying to get back into the daily grind. I will write a blog post all about Aruba – from where we stayed, to what I packed for the kids and all my outfits. It was tough getting content with the kids but I did what I could!

I wanted to share this blazer and shorts combo with you before temps start to cool down. Am I the only one who can actually wait for fall? I am enjoying all the warm weather we can get – I’m really not ready for layers!

The blazer and shorts aren’t actually a set, but who cares! It’s all about mixing and matching. The blazer is a classic from J.Crew and I recently bought these shorts from Zara. I’ve been going through a phase where I want to rewear all my older pieces in my closet, instead of constantly buying new items and them being sold out within days. I’ve been gravitating more towards classic items when shopping, just because it’s easier to find similar items when linking for you guys!

I wanted to give a nice pop of print with this outfit so I wore these flats I bought from J.Crew not too long ago. They definitely need to be broken into it – the ankle straps were uncomfortable the first day, but the more I wore them, the better they became.
