The Big Red Hat

This was one of my favorite shoots to date! I brought the “big red hat” as a last minute accessory, honestly didn’t think my vision would come to life – but it did! I wanted to create a very simple and minimal outfit, but let the big red hat do all the talking…what do you guys think?

Sometimes, accessories are all you need to elevate a simple look – whether it’s a hat, a pair of shoes, hair accessories or even a bag! I bought this red hat while waiting on line at Zara a few months back, and thought “why not?” And yes, I wear white after Labor Day – I LOVE an all white look during the winter months as well – I think it looks super chic.

I would probably restyle this C/MEO blouse with a pair of white trousers or jeans and booties for the fall/winter months.
