Faux Leather Dress Season is Here

  Faux leather dress season is HERE! Actually, faux leather ANYTHING season is here – love dressing for the fall. Although, I will admit I never really look forward to it and start dressing layers, hats and booties until I have to, maybe mid-September into October because I hate the brutal cold in NY. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, when you can just throw on a blazer with heels or flats, and you’re set for the day!

I already styled so much faux leather within the past few weeks. In case you missed it, I went to the Elie Tahari show during NYFW; I styled the brand’s gorgeous plaid blazer with a pair of faux leather leggings. You can check out the Instagram post HERE. Another favorite of mine this season, is this midi dress from Zara. It is actually the softest faux leather and it comes with the belt. I love how it is styled on the site with a pair of knee-high leather boots. I wanted to do something a little different and style with my favorite pair of Loeffler Randall Isla booties, which I HIGHLY recommend for everyday. Something about this dress made me want to style it in a very Parisian way – I actually found this “French girl” costume set on Amazon, which includes the beret, white sunglasses, neck scarf & white gloves (which I didn’t wear) – but you would never tell, right?! I tucked my hair in a bit in the back and left the front layers out to complete the look.
