My fellow bloggers – don’t you hate it when you’re linking items to start your post and of course -EVERY item is already sold out. But you just bought the item?! Well, that happens to me all the time, not sure if anyone can relate!
I wore this look this past weekend when I went for a walk with my family. It’s so hard to look “on-trend” and comfy/casual but this outfit totally works! First of all, the espadrilles from Sole Society are absolutely comfortable; no complaints here. It was my first time wearing them so I was expecting some discomfort, but not at all! They’re under $60, come in a different color and are trendy this season because of the lace-up detail. I highly recommend!
Also, unfortunately – this top is sold out from Nordstrom Rack. I found two similar options for you – linked above. I always resort to these kind of tops because they’re long-ish, loose and still cutesy at the same time. You know, that’s helpful when you have to run after your toddler or go find his sneakers in the middle of the street when he decides to take them off! I swear, that happened during this “photoshoot.” A few pictures I’m actually laughing and smiling at my son as he’s taking off his sneakers (twice)!
Anyways, sorry for the rant. I would recommend investing in a few sleeveless vests and/or jackets; they’re a great layering piece for the spring season. I also just got this lipstick from Sephora – I love the color, it’s like a neutral coral.
